  18. I actually visited Oxxi at their Signal Hill, California office on Monday 
  19. 18 March 1996.  I only stopped by because I had an appointment in the 
  20. area and I just wanted to confirm their physical presence since their 
  21. voice line was disconnected and they didn't answer my FAX.

  23. Anyway, John Houston chatted with me for about 3-1/2 hours (mostly about 
  24. their new PCI video card for Windows95).  He did mention that someone was 
  25. working on SBasePro4, estimated 30 hours per week in addition to their 
  26. regular job.

  28. The bottom line is that Oxxi just wasn't getting orders (for obvious 
  29. reasons).  For cryin' out loud (in response to the person who suggested a 
  30. boycott), Amigas won't sell if software isn't available and vice versa.

  32. Oxxi is willing to support existing Amiga products at a "break even" 
  33. level.  In other words, They'd need about $2500 in Amiga orders per 
  34. month to cover the salary of one developer (and that's cheap)!
